Why I work on Universal Medicine Facts by Isabella Benhayon
When I first met the man that was to be my future father-in-law, I was only 10 years old and living in a world that seems so far away to the one I am living in now – at the time, my parents had become close friends with Serge and Deborah Benhayon and often travelled up the coast from where we lived to attend some of Serge’s early workshops and sessions.
During my years growing up – I was lost, uncommitted to life, and unsure of myself, as most of what I had experienced in life had been ‘normal’ but always falling short of what I felt inside to be true.
Meeting Serge Benhayon and the Benhayon family, and then years later choosing to involve Universal Medicine in my life, gave me back something I had been desperately and at times, agonisingly, searching for every day up to that point – I learnt the importance of self-love, self-care, and commitment to life – but more than anything I was shown a way of living that actually made sense to what I had always felt inside.
In my early twenties, I began a relationship with Serge’s son Curtis Benhayon, a man who from day one I adored so much marrying him was really the only option, and therefore, since becoming a part of the Benhayon family, and living with Serge Benhayon on a daily basis, I have been given the opportunity and honour of seeing the true man and true livingness behind the business that is Universal Medicine.
Serge Benhayon walks and lives what he teaches every second of his day – and to put it bluntly, he works harder, longer hours with more love and more commitment than I am certain, anyone on this planet. He has dedicated his life and every moment of it to the service of humanity and to help and assist others in any and every way he can. There is never a time, not one moment that Serge Benhayon is not willing to do all he can for people. And there is never a moment that Serge Benhayon slips from his integrity to indulge in a moment of self, which as I have witnessed, most others do. He is a man that defies what the adults of my life growing up just used to write off as ‘human nature’ – he is unique amongst what we have come to accept as the norm, and that uniqueness has changed hundreds of people’s lives right in front of my eyes – from unhealthy, depressed, lost – to vital, joyful and open, I have seen people change in a way that most doctors would (and have) describe as a miracle.
Therefore, when a small group of individuals who know very little if not nothing of what they are talking about, and who clearly and obviously have a personal agenda, come out of the woodwork and begin to not just critique, but attempt to destroy the life and business of Serge Benhayon by accusing him of behaviours that he lives the polar opposite to, and in addition begin to attack other members of my family and the community whom I know, and attempt to stop others in the wider community from finding the same healing and life changes that I and so many others have experienced – then I will stand up for truth, and I will put my 100% support behind debasing the lies being spread and the truth being told.
This is not about us as students of Universal Medicine, defending from being attacked, nor me as a family member of the Benhayons, defending my own – this is about the fact that everyone should be able to express freely and live their lives freely if it is not harming of others. It is also about freedom of choice – the opportunities that I and many others have been given that have provided wellness, health and vitality, should be by right, offered to all as a choice. It is therefore imperative that any obstacle that is purposely placed in the way of people having that choice and freedom to choose – be debased and removed.
