Who is Serge Benhayon?
Serge Benhayon is an author, presenter and practitioner of esoteric philosophy and complementary therapies who regularly teaches and practises in Australia and the United Kingdom with students from around the world. He is the founder of Universal Medicine and the Director of the Esoteric Practitioners Association*. Over the past eight years he has published seven substantial volumes on Esoteric Philosophy, healing and sciences. Serge Benhayon’s life and work has been studied at University level and continues to be the subject of numerous papers and PhD’s.
In amongst his busy clinic hours and speaking engagements Serge Benhayon has established many charitable projects and initiatives, including the purchase of a property, which provides free accommodation for travelling students and patients undergoing medical treatment for cancer and other illnesses. This is one of Serge Benhayon’s many philanthropic activities, and part of his demonstrated commitment to ‘giving-back’ to the community. Serge Benhayon continues to support many cancer patients and others with debilitating or life threatening disease or illness, free of charge, often treating them in the early hours of the morning, before the rest of his busy working day.
Serge Benhayon is a grandfather of three and a father of four adult children who are now successful in their own right. He is married to singer, practitioner and Feather Light Productions director Miranda Benhayon and remains best friends with his former wife and the mother of his children, Deborah, who is now herself re-married. He lives and works in Northern New South Wales, Australia. Of note also is the fact that his current wife and former wife are also best friends; a unique posture for most but not so for a man who lives the loving way his teachings inspire.
Since 1999, Serge Benhayon internationally pioneered the way on the importance of self-care and self-love as a basis for bringing harmony to life, work and relationships. To date many thousands of people have benefited from his healing sessions. Many hundreds have made huge shifts in their health and wellbeing by applying his teachings beyond the clinic sessions and workshops, and making self-loving choices a natural part of daily life. Their stories are a remarkable reflection of the power of ordinary, everyday people to turn their lives around and create lives of vitality, fulfilment and joy. The transformation in these people is obvious and undeniable, and a joy to see unfold. Some of those who have benefitted are the writers of these blogs.
The Way of the Livingness was officially founded by Serge Benhayon in 2000 and forms the basis of his lived teachings. ‘The Livingness’ is a way of living that recognizes that at our essence we are fiery love – a love that can be brought forth and practically lived and expressed, regardless of race, gender, nationality, our particular situation, or posting in life. In essence, we are all loving beings, who can live in harmony with each other right here in the midst of everyday life. The teachings of Serge Benhayon and The Way of the Livingness as a whole, are very practical and demonstrate a very real way of living that allows people to simply be themselves, in a world that fosters the opposite. The teaching is that a life of harmony and love is indeed possible – for all.
But if that is true, why is the world as it is? How is it that we are supposedly in a world made up of loving beings when the reality is that we live in a world that is very far from loving, one in which ill-health and disease, suicide, mental health issues etc, etc are commonplace?
Is it not worth pondering the answers that Serge Benhayon offers to this last question?
What does Serge Benhayon present?
Serge Benhayon teaches that to live in accordance to our loving essence we must first deeply honour it – practically and consistently. Through the simple practice of self-care and self-love in all aspects of life we return to a way of living that is congruent with whom we innately are. At the same time the emotional and energetic disturbances that otherwise occupy and sometimes consume us – and are commonly experienced as the ‘human struggle’, or referred to as the ‘human condition’ – are addressed and healed. In short, instead of living according to what the world imposes upon us, or from our own emotional reactions to what we know to be ‘wrong’, we can reclaim for ourselves a way of being that starts with true harmony – within ourselves first. We come to learn as a fact that we can only find harmony with others if we find it first in ourselves.
Serge Benhayon pulls the curtain back so to speak on the energetic interplays of life at large and presents that in an age where we now know (as Einstein revealed) that ‘everything is energy’ it is time to consider that ‘everything is because of energy’ – SB. This means that the cause of everything that happens to us – or through us – originates with energy. Energy, if you like, is the water we swim in but often choose not to see. Serge Benhayon’s teachings are revolutionary in this sense.
Energy is qualified by considering the following – is the energy you choose to express with, of the same quality of energy you are at your innermost heart-felt essence? Or is it of a quality that is less than the love that you come from? And if yes, what toll does this take on your body (and that of others) when this energy is expressed through it? If a person lives ‘angry’ day in day out what effect does it have on them physically? Furthermore, what imprint does it leave on the ‘sea’ of energy we all walk around and live in? Looking further at the body itself that expresses such anger (or any other emotion, for that matter), what shape does the form take when we express in that way? Does the body harden and tense? Do the shoulders turn in? Will such ill energetic dispositions also affect our physiology and our state of mental health?
If we accept the possibility that expressing in emotion causes great harm to the body, then it starts to explain a lot about the state of human health, worldwide. In fact, Serge Benhayon states – ‘there is a relationship between our intensifying emotional state and our rising rates of illness and disease’. This is something that is becoming increasingly of great interest to doctors and other healthcare practitioners worldwide, and there is a growing interest in Serge Benhayon’s presentations and teachings. Serge Benhayon presents that not only is there a relationship between emotions and our health, but that it is a science that can be felt and known by anyone and everyone equally if they are willing to tune in and listen to the messages of their own body.
Today many people have chosen to develop a growing awareness of the choice of energy they are using to run the body and make choices that are honouring of their inner-most loving essence. This has brought enormous benefits to their health, well-being and vitality levels. Many hundreds have reported enrichment of their relationships and work and in many aspects of their life.
